Official Austrian guidance confirms key passport rules: the passport should have at least two blank pages, be valid for at least three months beyond the requested visa validity, and must not have been issued more than 10 years ago.

• Wait for the decision
  Austrian official guidance says an admissible Schengen visa application should normally be processed within 15 calendar days. If further checks are needed, processing may increase to 45 calendar days.
• Collect your passport and check the result
